Our pastor, Lance Lewis, and his wife Sharon relocated to northern California from Philadelphia in 2013. Prior to serving at New City Sac, Pastor Lance and Sharon served in pastoral ministry in Philadelphia. Lance and Sharon have been married for 35 years and have two children, Sarah and Charles. Pastor Lance and Sharon enjoy trying their hand at preparing delicious, healthy dishes, travelling to visit new places and see their family, and attending musicals (we love Les Mis, Ragtime and Hamilton) and playing Scrabble.
Pastor Lance speaks and has contributed to books on the subject of racial reconciliation including ‘Heal Us Emmanuel: A call for reconciliation, representation and unity in the church, All Are Welcome: Toward a Multi-Everything Church, Aliens in the Promised Land: Why Minority Leadership is Overlooked in White Christian Churches and Institutions, Why Black Lives Matter: African-American Thriving for the 21st Century.

Dawn enjoys oldies but goodies, travelling, chocolate, meeting new people, and spending time with her family, especially gaming with her husband and son. Her family is her greatest joy.
Dawn is passionate about serving God and His people and has been since coming to the Lord as a child. One of her favorite Bible verses is Matthew 25:40. She feels privileged to volunteer in any capacity and seeks opportunities to be of service to her NCF family.
