Vacation Bible School
Our theme this year is: FAITH EXPEDITION! The children will travel across time through the lives of Moses, David, Daniel, Matthew, Paul and Silas to discover how God gives his covenant people faith to follow him, believe his promises and obey him.
This exciting adventure gives children a biblical view of sin and their need for Christ while challenging participants to share Christ with others.
Soaring Oaks is unusual in that we provide both an intensive Bible study program as well as a multi-media art experience for the children. We provide the children an opportunity to express their creativity and problem solving skills through arts and crafts. We provide many age appropriate art stations with projects such as: fish printing (with real fish!), collage, paper dolls, spin art, hats, tie-dye, finger painting, salt prints, painting, stamping and much more! We also provide large bubbles and sand volcanoes. For the older children we provide art projects that require more patience, as well as fine-motor skills, including: jewelry making, leather working, brass rubbing, sand pictures and much more. Each year we strive to add new projects to keep the program stimulating. The emphasis of this art experience is on free expression so each project will reflect the child’s individual taste and creativity.
The children will also learn hymns and praise songs in opening and closing assemblies as well as play games. We will provide snacks.
We provide classes for children from 3 years-7th grade.

Time: 9am-12noon
Cost: ** $20 per child with $50 maximum per family

** We do not want any child to be turned away because of the registration fee. Scholarships are available upon request. Please discuss your need with Cherilyn.
